The church on the hill
The colours on the trees cannot get much more rich but I have been thinking that for a few days now. But for those colours, I could have believed summer had returned, so bright was the light and so warm the sunshine. Two of my regulars were missing in the market so I made a quick trip into town to buy my fish and other provisions. I was back in time for coffee on the square before having lunch with a friend. I returned home to read Laudato Si, the Pope's encyclical on the environment. Now I shall settle down for the rugby.
