Delivery

At last the gravel arrived for the courtyard.  It took two of us three hours to complete the job, barrowing, spreading and tamping.  In the afternoon, I ran the car over it systematically to compress it further.  There will be more of a problem with the cats who now have new litter!  There are up to 12, some of them feral, that consider the yard home.  I have a sonic deterrent which does not work and have tried lemon peel and a water pistol but the cats always come back. I quite like cats but don't like having to frequently clean the soles of my shoes after crossing the courtyard! If anyone has any suggestions, I should be grateful.
