A Social Day

We had a busy day of socialising yesterday. First in to town for a cup of coffee and to see R’s parents visiting from Ireland. It was R’s mum who took this picture while she was trying out my camera. R’s daughter had baked the cup cakes in front of us!
Then it was further south to Sundsvall to join several other friends for a good evening at the cinema and then at a restaurant for dinner. (Check out JanHar's blip for more about the evening.)
We left Sundsvall just as the younger party-goers were getting going! We got home around midnight.

One of L’s cupcakes. As a modern 12 year-old she learned to do the rose pattern in the icing from YouTube!  The baking skills otherwise come from her Mum.
It was delicious!
