We're gonna need a bigger boat

It was chucking it down with rain when we got up, it takes more than that to stop us though so we put on our coats and went for coffee.

Then we walked up to Stock Ghyll Force which is a pretty short but still very lovely walk in Ambleside. After lunch in the Unicorn we hired boats and had a whizz about on Lake Windermere. Excellent fun, the boats are electric and really easy to drive (Pilot?) so everyone had a go the children loved it. Here is Sam trying to catch dinner, alas the fish must have been away for half term so we bought steak from Booths instead.

After a quick pint at the Mortal Man Sam cooked dinner and then it was games. Including one where all the participants have to answer the questions without showing their teeth.. I laughed so much I nearly passed out.
