Thunder thighs revisited

Thick legged flower beetle - Oedemera nobilis.

There were lots of these little chappies around today and seeing as I read that they are actually listed as endangered or something like that, I thought it well worth another blip. Actually this particular beetle was taken out by a yellow dung fly about two seconds after I shot the blip, it was brutal!

Tomorrow evening I start my journey back to Bandung. I arrive late Thursday in Singapore, so it looks like I will be sleeping on the floor at the airport, as the Bandung flight will not be until the next morning. Well, I have been sleeping on a sofa for two months so it should not be too much of a hardship.
