The Sunflower fund

I spent 3 hours this afternoon drawing blood samples from about 60 people who came forward as potential bone marrow donors.  There were 4 of us working flat out to clear the crowds who turned up!  Over 250 samples were collected  I really hope they can find a match from one of the lovely young people, from all walks of life turning up to support a friend with leukaemia and in need of a bone marrow transplant.
It's been a good day. I was up early and was surprised to be able to hear the whole garden humming, how do the bees manage to get to work sooo early!
