Pumpkins on Parade

I drove up to Longshaw in torrential rain this morning. My job today was to sell Hallowe'en trails and cookies to kids on their half term break. Understandably, there were very few visitors. The lovely kitchen staff (and one of the rangers) used the unexpected free time to exercise their creative skills to make these amazing pumpkin lanterns. 
The weather did pick up later and a by mid-afternoon, the Visitor Centre (and all of us) were busy as usual. See the lantern creators in extras.
