Mackerel Sky

The rainy morning turned into a lovely sunny afternoon so it was ideal for doing a recce for a walk that I'm leading for the walking group.

Lovely as it was, I will have to choose a different walk as steep slopes with slippery leaves hiding slippery stones is not an ideal combination. Luckily I stayed upright but I'll postpone it until spring just in case!

I couldn't resist a shot of this fantastic mackerel sky seen as I was walking along one of the lanes.
