A lovely autumnal day

Today started wet but brightened up and turned into a lovely afternoon. Met up with a few people from work and had a good natter before heading into town. I went to the Parade shopping centre today - not somewhere that I normally visit - and was impressed by the range of shops there. I noticed a back door on the lower level and went out of there and saw a stunning view of the English bridge and the old Shrewsbury Town ground which has now been built on. The lighting was perfect and really brought out the autumnal colours.
Chris, the boys and dad have been go-karting today in Loughborough. This was a Christmas treat from dad last year that they've only just got around to doing. Sounds like they had a fantastic time. Probably a good job I stayed here as I'm not a huge fan of speed!
