Research view

My view at work today - just arrived in Millbrook for a few last days of field work. The goal: ID-ing the trees closest to each of the 230+ ant nests I am following over time. So there is quite a lot to do, most mostly to learn. In one way or the other I will have to learn the local trees the coming days. So here I am, walking the autumny forest, looking up to the tree tops with binoculars and trying to tell different barks and leaves from each other. Never to old to learn!
