Autumn at Stourhead

I've had a wonderful day at the National Trust property Stourhead today, catching up with friends and enjoying the beautiful autumn colours :)) This is three images stitched together. Click here to see the colours really come alive!

The last time I visited Stourhead, it hailed!

In fact, I've had a great day altogether. I joined a camera club recently and submitted my first two images for competition this evening with rather pleasing results - a 9 and a 9 1/2 :)) So very encouraging but it will be a tough one to follow! 

Sorry I've not been on Blip at all today (it's been a very full day)! Thank you so much for all your great comments, stars and hearts for yesterday's Frosty Sunrise blip - I'm so glad you enjoy my sunrises, too! :))
