garden gone to bed...

this is what the garden looks like...it's been totally  harvested!  

It's been a good day, sunny, no pressure....some pots were made....the last of the kale and swiss chard have been harvested and put into the freezer!  Mind you, this is a small amount compared to past years! 
oh well, i know we won't starve,  but we'll have to be buying potatoes for the whole winter...there is only 1/2 a bag in the root cellar!

Tomorrow we say good bye to our final wwoofer...Lucas,  he has been so helpful:  stacking wood, harvesting and freezing stuff....we wish him well on his travels!
