Why does the word ‘egg’ have so few consonants is so many languages? (Not completely certain about the Welsh but, pending Maria’s arrival, I think that’s two vowels.)
These eggs come from a farm just outside Oxford which has been researching chickens’ relationship with trees. Basically they like them. The farm is also researching whether chickens are good for trees. The results from that study might take a little longer to emerge.
The 1,000 chickens on the farm create the most extraordinary range of shell colours - see those pale green ones. They are vibrant, like no eggs I’ve ever seen before. Jewels in the palm. And they taste excellent, as I discovered when I took part in a blind taste test recently. The best.
No, it's got nothing to do with fowels.
