Dear Monty Again

As lovely Monty and Nigel agreed in the final episode of GW for 2015 (Waaaah!!!!), this has been a very good year for the roses (cue Elvis Costello) but even though the flushes of blooms  round the cottage were stunning during June to September I was still amazed at the number of blooms and buds still evident when we arrived  today.  A dead-heading session also showed that we had missed at least 30 blooms in our absence on the red rose which is partially hidden here.  Hope 2016 will be just as good.
