I've gotta wear shades.

I was off work today, which was nice and needed.

But got one of those texts that put you on edge for the rest of the day. From a man I went on ONE date with last year, and although we text occasionally I haven't spoken to him for ten months. TEN MONTHS. So I was surprised to have him being a bit arsey because I may have a date lined up. It was a real WTF? moment.

However, I'm putting it to bed now with this blip.

Eve went roller-skating tonight with her best mate and his mum, she came back with bruises AND a request for skates of her own so she could go back ASAP.

I wanted to treat Jeanne because she didn't get to go roller-skating ... but had to be back for Miketheboilerman. So we had to settle with the chemist in Mossley and she got to choose two Rimmel nail polishes.

So...I painted her nails in two colours with polka dots (using a pin because her nails are so small!) and we spent some nice time together.

Lovely walk round Mossley this evening..the SUN CAME BACK....
and everything looked a bit better.
