Not Blowing In The Wind
Unusual for me to admit defeat as I try very hard to put a name to what I post. I just can't identify the plant that has gone beautifully to seed in one of our disused greenhouses. It grows outside too but the down has long since gone. I'm wondering if it is an introduced species.
The soft background is thistle down, that because it is inside, has been retained also. I'm always lurking trying to capture dunnocks, wrens and robins in this white fluffy cloud.
Unusual for me also to post a plant without a bug in it. A minute brown bug that I have not seen elsewhere does live in the feather light parachutes, backlit in this case.
PS Thanks to Ryan Clark I have identified this as Conyza sumatrensis. :)
