Autumn Swans

55 whooper swans flying onto the loch this afternoon. I heard the 18 or so that were already on arrive at 5am this morning calling away to each other. Was considering trying to get a photo of them but they were at the far end of the loch. Then amazingly whilst on my afternoon dog walk the huge flock came in, with little warning so settings were a little off on the camera but just amazing to see and hear that many swans!

This morning I brought in the sale lambs to the shed with Breagh and Shaw. Shaw was a wee star anticipating their every move and keeping them coming along nicely together with Breagh keeping her side moving along nicely. They will be sold on Tuesday so we have brought them in a couple of days early to get them nice and dry and fluffy.
