This is How We Do It
Spent a lovely morning at Sweetwater Wetlands Park here in G'ville. The Limpkins were everywhere! This seems to be the 'Year of the Limpkin'! Here's a Limpkin mom demonstrating the finer points of snail hunting. The pink shapes on the left side of the photo are Apple Snail Egg clusters. And in the 'Extra Photos' area: photo #1.Adult Limpkin with it's snail breakfast 2.Tri-colored Heron 3.Woodstork 4.Male Boat-tailed Grackle. Today's blip image was a difficult decision so I wanted to share with you the other four contenders. What a great morning! Wishing all of you a Peaceful Week! :)
