2015 Thursday -- It's a Skeleton

Since we were here three weeks ago, the entire house has been completely rewired and replumbed. All the old wiring and all the old pipes have been removed, and there were a zillion wires and cables and equally as many pipes and way too many things "jimmy-rigged" here since this place was originally built in 1941/42.

Tomorrow the insulation crew will arrive, so the house will no longer be see-through. Our construction guys want to meet to double-check that cable-boxex, outlets, and switches are in the right places (where we want them).

The drive here today was beautiful. We arrived in under 4-hours; the quickest trip we've made here ever. We knew the construction guys would still be at the house, so we stopped at the pier first to walk the three pooches so they could get some exercise and spend their pent-up energy before arriving at the our little beach house that currently only has one very small guest room downstairs with an attached bedroom.

All over again we are refreshed by California's Central Coast. It's good to be here.
