Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

2015 Friday -- Sunset's Symphony

We were on our way to dinner, with a 6:30 reservation at Cafe Della Via. So we had a few moments to spare and decide to walk around the building to the side that faces the ocean. Here in Cayucos (ki-u-cuss) almost every building faces the main street, Ocean Avenue.

We wanted to see the sunset; that's exactly what we got to see -- the sun dropping into the cloud bank. Sigh! Big Sigh!

We currently have no kitchen in our little beach home, so going out to eat is the only option when we have here on the Central Coast while the remodeling is in progress.

This morning we spent almost a couple hours with the builders so they could ask lots of questions -- they wanted to make sure that electrical outlets were in the right places, TV jack, light switches, floor outlets in the front sunroom, etc. were where we wanted them. The insulation crew arrived as we had begun our discussion. We had also mentioned a few interior walls we wanted insulated, like the wall between the master bedroom and bathroom. Once the insulation guys got to work with their masks on, my sinuses started to react, so I told our guys that I had to get out of there.

Our meeting was pretty much over, so we put the pups in the car and headed to the beach. We walked 3 miles on the sand from the pier all the way to the south state beach parking lot and restroom. It was good for all of us. Few, very few, people were on the beach and it was low tide which makes for lovely shoreline.

from California's Central Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
