Haybridge Nature Reserve

The first day of our short trip to the south of the county.  One of our main reasons for going was to visit the Haybridge nature reserve.  This is a private reserve open to members only.

Having arrived at our site and set up the caravan we decided to have a quick visit to see how things were as we had never been before.  The reserve is in as isolated place as I can imagine for anywhere in the Lakes.

To get there you have to drive 1 1/2 miles along to the end of a single track road.  Having parked the car we walked a few hundred yards down the road to a hide we had spotted.  This is a shot taken as we walked along the road.
