Mechanical Monster!

Are we in for some fun or not!
A few days ago we received a letter from our local council advising that they would be doing some road resurfacing outside our house over the next few days. Well, today it all kicked off! We saw the traffic lights go up just before we set off to catch the bus to Stirling. I won't mention the fact that the bus refused to stop because of said traffic lights! However, we got there eventually and dealt with the bits and bobs we needed to do. Returning home we found traffic mayhem and contractors vehicles everywhere. Such fun!
This afternoon, we, including Rona, took the bus to the Falkirk Wheel, thankfully without Rona woofing everybody. Well done, Rona! By the time we had walked the towpath back to Bonnybridge, Rona was too bushed to bother when we chickened out and caught another bus to take us up the hill to home.
I spent the rest of the afternoon sanding down the legs of six dining room chairs and applying an oak stain. I think I have earned some feet-up time this evening!
Can we please hold on to this pleasant weather for another few days??
