Cockenzie Memorial

In less than a month since their demolition a memorial to the twin chimneys of Cockenzie Power Station has been erected in the grounds of Cockenzie House. We were there to sample the upgraded cafe, now run by Falko Konditormeister, who make incredibly delicious cakes which cried out to be sampled.

We then took a wander through the gardens, meeting a very pretty and friendly tabby cat, (extra 1) then a short promenade round the beach area, returning with a view of two maritime weathervanes (extra 2).
