Need new cell phone

Yesterday, I went walking with the dog & didn't take my camera.  There was a beautiful sunrise with the sun not quite risen but just highlighting the dark clouds with a lite edge.  I e-mail it to myself transferred it Apple photo but could not edit it back to original beauty.  I either need to carry my SLF camera at all times or get a compact camera or get a better cell phone.  My Verizon Samsung flip phone is over 5 years old.  I started to upgrade 2 yrs. ago but didn't want a "smart phone" & pay extra for features we would seldom use.
