Training local community healthworkers

When IMPACT UK was set up 30 years ago one of our beliefs was that local and community involvement was paramount and that the international IMPACT family could be inspired by the same aims and run locally by locals.  And that has been the pattern and formula ever since.


Working within and alongside members of the communities in which our projects are run, we provide training and education; empowering local people with the knowledge and skills, and instilling confidence, on how to take care of their own health, the health of their families and the health of their communities. This enables IMPACT to safeguard the health of generations to come.
