. . . . . up the Kaiapoi River. I believe those lyrics are by Johnny Rivers so it's appropriate to tweek them a little.
A group of us from the Canterbury Sea Kayak Network paddled up the Kaiapoi this morning (the Wednesday morning paddlers), to see how far we could get - we did run out of deep enough water, so had to turn around; that was the plan! There were lots of images but I do like this one of a friend that I've paddled with lots over the years, and he's given me permission to put it here on Blip. Thanks D!
