Well what an eventful weekend.  Lou needs to be induced because she has obstetric cholestasis, a bile acid problem.

After being officially 5cms dilated the labour was a staggering 55 minutes, with the actual birth being 4 minutes.  The midwives didn't even get a change to put their aprons on.  As the birthing partner, I was totally redundant.

Joshua Jay is stunningly beautiful - not that I am biased or anything.
