Woodmans Cottage, Somersby.

Well all the best laid plans for today went a little awry.  I was on my way to a meeting at RAF Coningsby and noted that the main road from Louth to Horncastle was closed so I would have to make a detour.  I telephone through to let people know I would be late to be told that the meeting had actually been cancelled yesterday.  Many apologies for not letting me know, but a wonderful day to take a ride through the Lincolnshire Wolds and go across country to Skegness making a few detours to get this wonderful mud and stud cottage for today's blip.  Somersby is the birthplace of Alfred, Lord Tennyson.  I have done a little research since I got home looking for a suitable quote to go with the photograph and have discovered  that Tennyson actually staying in the village that I now live in and wrote one of his poems "Locksley Hall", whilst he was actually staying in Locksley Hall at North Somercotes.,

This Blipping Malarkey is quite educational!!!!!
