My City

This is my home: Suzhou, China. I'm not originally from here and I don't look like I belong here, but over the past few months it has become my home.

Suzhou is a city brimming with Chinese culture and history and lining streets are endless canals and gardens. The city is nicknamed the Venice of the East and this photo is of just one of the many canals in the city.

The city has many quirks which often make me tilt my head and wonder what I am doing here. But then as I wander its streets and uncover more of its secrets, I fall more in love with this city every day.
