BBC Television Studios, Cardiff

We went to the Cardiff barrage again and I feel I have now blipped most of the points of interest here, but this is a shot of the new 170,000 sq. ft. BBC studios situated at Roath Lock in the heart of the docklands which was opened in March 2012.   Some of the programmes made here are Dr Who, Casualty, Torchwood, Upstairs Downstairs, Wizards V Aliens and the Welsh language soap Pobol y Cwm. The studios employ between 500 and 600 people.
