Up up and away

Whatever deal I did with the weather gods it wasn't enough.  What is worse, the weather forecasters got it right.   We were late getting there but because of the bad weather they hadn't left.  Nothing like yesterday but none the less a magical experience and one I will definitely repeat.  It was just like floating through the air and so quiet.  Well except for when there were blasts of the burners.  This shot was when we were coming in low to the field to the right of the balloon in the foreground.  There was a very large mob of kangeroos.  I was surprised at just how much control the pilots have as far as swinging the basket around, up and down.   The landing however was two hard thumps but at least we didn't tip over like everyone else.   I have put some extras up of higher up, the photo we got of us in the basket (yes that child in the middle was our pilot Nicola) and coming down.  What a great day.  And of course, thank you, thank you, thank you for such a lovely response to yesterdays.
