The Boys

That's how our neighbors, E and S, refer to their dogs. They are keen Husky (University of Washington) football fans and make frequent 180-mile round trips to home games in Seattle. When I can, I take the boys out for a short walk during their absence.

Baxter, on the left, is part Chihuahua and the senior/dominant dog. Rosco is a younger, recent adoptee miniature Pinscher. It took quite a while for Baxter to stop barking at me, but when Rosco came on the scene, Baxter quickly trained Rosco to accept me.

I wasn't a small dog fan, but these boys have found a place in my heart!
