Memories

Not a day goes by without thinking of my dad, especially hard as mum is not able to remember dad anymore (or any of us).  But particular days bring back those memories.  Today is the anniversary of my dad's death, 15 years, but it doesn't feel like that at all.  There are so many times over those years that I have wanted to tell him things, show him things or share with him my happy and sad moments.  Dad was always our "rock", steady and sound, gave good advice and was the softner for approaching mum at times! (that brings a lovely smile to my face).  Not sure how dad would have coped with mums dementia or being on her own................ we will never know.

So whilst this is not a photograph I have taken, it is a selection of photographs that I have chosen.

I just love the one of dad as a young child (in the middle) - such a cheeky boy :)

I have had a lovely day at a workshop, finishing off my Bruge flower (posted as an extra).
