I'm off ...

Today has felt a bit like a holiday. No chores or mundane tasks and I've managed to just do whatever I fancied!
Started the morning by browsing recipe books looking for inspiration. The community polytunnel growers are having a harvest lunch on Sunday which I can't attend but I still want to contribute. I have a glut of tomatoes, courgettes and tarragon so a blue cheese & courgette tart and some sun-dried (oven!) tomato & tarragon crackers are planned.
I popped in to our village hall to see the display that the local children have been working on as part of the Creative Forest workshops this week followed by tea and cake.
Quick stop at the polytunnel to harvest more tomatoes and clear a bit of space for winter crops.
Nice drive along the coast road where I stopped for more than a few minutes to take in the views and wonderful colours.
Cooper then accompanied me over to Tighnabruich, stopping at the viewpoint and onto Otter Ferry where we enjoyed a play on the beach. It's a while since I've driven the roads around Kilfinan, Otter Ferry and then over to the Clachan - thank goodness for Land Rovers as these roads are not for low or wide sports cars!
Hope I've selected the right blip for today - a few more in my extra's.
