Still Life with Sunflower

A very cold and rainy day. There was nothing I could do to feel warm. I did a series of shots of raindrops on wet leaves, wet bicycle sattles, wilted blossoms ... cold and wet and cold and wet. Not satisfying. I'm not posting any of them.

We decided to go to the movies. Perfect weather for that. And I love sitting in the movies in the afternoon when almost no one else is there. We saw the film version of Bill Bryson's A Walk in the Woods with Robert Redford which I found very enjoyable. Of course it reminded me of our walk on the Camino in Spain.

Shortly before we left I decided to shoot a little still life. Today's blip. Funny how working with my camera always warms me up.
