The Balcony's Last Call

It's time to ready the balcony for winter. The lavender is valiantly holding its own, but my geraniums et al are looking bedraggled. I'm always surprised to see the geraniums on the farmhouse balconies when we are outside of Munich. They bloom long into the cooler months, not mine.

Come to think of it, the bedraggled flowers are the reason I went out on the balcony with my camera in the first place. I liked their drooping lines. I'm including a shot in the extras, cropped and heavily processed. Not everyone's taste, I know.
