Derwentwater

Day Four at LPH. When we got down for breakfast this morning the mist in the valley was superb, we regretted not being up earlier! We might give that a go tomorrow. 

The group split again today and I went with SueT, Dave and Pat. We started on the Whinlatter Pass overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake to get the last of the mist, then we moved on to Manesty Woods at the side of Derwentwater. It was lovely through the woods and along the shore and the reflections were superb. We can't believe the glorious weather we're getting!

Mid afternoon we returned to the car and moved on to Ashness Bridge and Surprise View. We arrived back at base earlier than normal so we could sort pictures and then get back out for some sunset shots. We didn't quite manage the right location but we got some.
