I think this is a greenshank (corrections welcome) feeding in the shallows of the River Exe at Topsham, Devon.

PS. I have managed to add another Extra! First time done on the iPad. It shows a boat I am thinking of buying and doing up. The marine agent said it needed a little bit of maintenance.

CORRECTION: the bird is a black tailed Godwit.
