It's that tree again

First thing this morning there was such pretty light on the lake...so it was out with my camera and the best foreground seemed to be my favourite tree again. It was looking such a grey day, but by late morning the cloud burnt off to a very summer day.

Put some more lettuce plants in as well as vegetable seeds, the soil is feeling warmer and ready to get growing!

And it seems everyone enjoyed yesterday's quail as much as I did...thanks so much. They really are such quizzical looking birds with that little plume on the top of their head.
