Halloween Dolly

Getting into the Halloween spirit a little early this year.

I had another bowel-stretching procedure yesterday, which, unfortunately did not turn out as planned; my bowel has reduced to the size it was post radiation. The surgeon does not know why this has happened, and has referred me to a specialist (a professor, no less!) in Christchurch, who is an expert in these matters. I have a consultation, and then a procedure at the end of October with him. 
The surgeon is still hopeful that I won't need a permanent colostomy bag. 
I'm hoping, too.
