The girls football team had their first match and tournament today (they've only had 4 half hour lessons) and it was amazing to see their confidence grow with every match. We actually won a game and Little Miss S scored the winning goal, and it was a bloody good goal too! She impressed the sports teacher and he was trying to encourage her to find a local girls team. So what with her impressing the netball coach, coming second out of 200 odd Cubs at rifle shooting, winning medals for her running at district sports and now football; she is also still a high achiever at her studies too. I think I may need to get her DNA tested as I'm sure her genetic make-up is 100% James Bond!
