Plean Country Park

An occasional venue for a walk is Plean Country Park. The park is well wooded and has some pleasant short trails for walkers and horse riders. The last coal pits in Plean closed in 1963 and the remaining bings are now covered in trees. This statue is a reminder of the coal mining heritage of this area
