Edzell Castle

Edzell Castle is the remains of a 16th century nobleman's residence owned by the Lindsay family. One of its main features is the walled garden and the summer house in the corner of the garden.
The garden dates from 1604 and the present lay out was created  in 1930. 
The castle itself is built of fine red sandstone and must have been an impressive building in its time.
We paid a visit today with Fraser and Rebecca - courtesy of some local
