Kitchen Clock!

I love this clock - it is in the kitchen of our office in Manchester.  It probably didn't cost that much (and it must be battery operated) but i just like the retro, art deco look about it.  The original versions of this type of clock would have been made from Bakelite..  Anyone remember bakelite?  It was the forerunner of modern day plastics, quite heavy and definitely quite brittle - no wonder it didn't last :)
