Season of Mists

Love the morning mists at this time of year, as long as I don't have to drive in them:-)  It took a while to clear, but the afternoon was still and sunny. 

Lots to do before we're off again at the weekend, including renewing our gas boiler and central heating cover.  The quote struck me as being rather excessive, so I went online to look for other companies and found a good deal which was over £130 cheaper.  Just out of curiosity, I also asked for a quote from our current company (as if I was a new customer) and to my shock and amazement, it matched the quote of the cheaper company!

Too late to ring them now, but there will be words with them tomorrow and if they can't match the cheaper company for our cover, we shall be going elsewhere!
