Quite a Difference

Busy day today as I had to go in to Dundee for various reasons and then on to Carnoustie to have my hair cut, so no time to stop for a blip although it was another lovely sunny day.

This shot of the garden was taken to note the differences since we've been away (compare the shot of 30th September).  In spite of the mild weather, the trees are not fooled and they are putting on their autumn coats already. 

We're being promised the longest winter for 50 years and all because one Bewick Swan has arrived early from Arctic Russia!  Let's hope it just fancied an extra few weeks of sunshine to top up its tan:-)
