My Kinda Gal!
I've seen this lady before in Edinburgh and today was the day I decided to stop her and ask if I could take her photograph. She was a little hesitant at first and said she was in a hurry but graciously let me photograph her anyway. I didn't want to hold her up further by asking her name but, after some Googling, I think I've found her.. She was absolutely lovely and her generosity of spirit simply shone through. After I'd taken my snap, she wished me a very good day and I reciprocated her kind words .
I adore people who others may deem as "different" or a little "odd". Someone once said to me that a little madness is normal and, in my eyes, they were right. I'm also drawn to people who are non conformist and a little loud and if they have a wicked imagination, all the better! So, being able to photograph this amazing lady absolutely made my day.
Another thing which cheered me greatly was bumping into Andrew Burnett who was on a walkabout with his delightful wife, Wiebke (@wiieb on Twitter) his adorable little daughter Alexa (@weeburnett on Twitter), his lovely sister, Nina and her very entertaining son Euan (must take after his uncle!). Here's a snap of the person who very happily let the wee ones have a go on his drum kit. He was quite an individual too!
All in all, I've enjoyed today!
Ps Here's a photo of the lovely Elaine's colourful dreads.
