Guess who let the camera hit the ground this morning........
Just as well I am an advocate of keeping a UV filter on the lens at all times - £6 for a filer is much better than £230 for a new lens.

all turned out fine despite having that filter on the lens (it took me until lunchtime to manage to get the damned thing off).

Squirrel was not wanting to go out to collect her brother from school so PD and I went alone.
He and I then went and threw a ball for PD on the playing fields for a while and collected brambles for consumption after dinner.
When we got back to the house he turned into a wee shite!
I am so looking forward to my holiday!
