I did warn you..........

I went out with the Nikon macro lens on the Lumix today.
Red was the main colour - not surprising at this time of year really.
Not having a proper viewfinder on the camera can be a bit problematic when you use the lens nearly wide open - like here.
I think the cow parsley and web is a bit like a bald thistle head (in the header).

The light and colour really grabbed my attention - just a shame about the spots on the leaf.

An imaginary prize goes to the person who can tell me what THIS is.


Okay - once again I passed the white mould which appeared on a fallen tree and has been featured twice ..... yesterday being the more recent.
It was changing colour yesterday but I couldn't believe how much of a difference there was today.
The other growth shows how the colour change works across it.
I suspect it goes black because it bleeds.

We had a half day today because son-in-law came home early as the start of his holiday .......... I wasn't complaining. It means we are closer to going away on our holiday!
