Mortsafe
Long run from Croy all the way into Glasgow today. All of 17 miles along the canal.
I say run, there were numerous stops to take pictures.
This is Cadder Church near Bishopbriggs. In the churchyard sits this iron "over coffin", known as a mortsafe, used to protect the recently deceased from grave robbers in the days when that sort of thing was popular.
